Normally, I would space out my card posts but I was concerned about challenge entry deadlines. Plus, I was just too eager to share!
Heather Nichols demonstrated how to color using white ink at this week's Papertrey Make It Monday challenge. I immediately thought of Nichole's beautiful dandelions here (first card). I immediately set out to do something similar with the gorgeous dandelions in Botanical Silhouettes (PTI's 4th Anniversary set).
After embossing Labels 17, I left the die in place for stamping (with a bit of masking for the grass). I used Versamark ink and heat embossed the image with clear powder and the sentiment in white powder. I continued to hold the die in place while I used ink blending foam to whiten up around the frame. Lastly, I used a Q-tip to apply some white ink to the dandelions, using the reverse end of the Q-tip to carefully dab away the excess.
*sigh* I love it!
This card bears a remarkable resemblance to the card I did here.
Thanks for stopping by!
