I'm so excited to particpate in my very first PTI blog hop! I love much of the PTI products, but have not been able to aquire them. But since I'm visiting Dana who is a huge PTI fan and has a lot of products for me to use, I can participate in this month's blog hop. Thanks, Dana.
I just love the inspiration photo! It challenged me to use a different colour combo and to stamp my own pattern. The ruffle idea of this challenge reminded me of a tutorial on Clare Buswell's blog on how to make paper ruffles. So I decided to give it a go with this challenge. I may have over done the ruffles on the card, but Idid have a lot of fun playing with the idea. Thank you, Clare.
If you check out Clare's blog, you'll note that my ruffles are a lot more finely gathered, but I'll work on getting a more loose gather on another ptoject. I used Green Botique and Bitty Box Basics in Lemon Tart for the ruffles.
Here's a side view.
I has been so fun to paper craft with Dana. Now that I live in beautiful Victoria, B.C. I miss the times we were able to craft together when I lived in Calgary.
Thank you for stopping by to have a peek at my first PTI blog hop submission.
