I can't take the credit for the design of this card. Becca Feeken designed this card last year and I was drawn to the sweet country vintage appeal of this card and wanted to try it for myself. I didn't have the same paper that she used so it looks different, but it was fun to figure it out and put it together. Here is Becca's card -
I wish so much that I had red and white gingham ribbon as Becca used. I believe it is the element that most countrified the card. I wish that I had darkened the edges more than I did, but there is still something appealing about this card design.
I did not pop up as many layers as Becca did, because I wanted to be able to mail the card without too much difficulty as you can see in the photo to the right. I was never much of a fan of Kraft paper until I was introduced to PTI's Kraft paper by my daughter. That is the only Kraft paper that I will use from now on, and I'll use it more often in my designs.
TOOLS
Spellbinders Hearts, Scallop Circles, Standard Circles
