I am a mother of 5 children, and have 6 grandchildren so far. I loved being a stay-at-home-Mom for 25 years, but that changed in 2005. I didn't get into scrapbooking and cardmaking until August 2009 while living in Calgary AB, where my oldest daughter (Dana) and her family live.
As far back as I can remember, I have always loved to create, and come up with great ideas. I know that at times I must have driven my loved ones around me a little crazy with it all. But you know what? All that creativity has given me immense happiness and pleasure. To be creative on a daily basis is like the air needed to breathe with.
Over the years I have been creative in knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking, and sewing, drawing, painting, photography, writing, crafts, graphic design, bookmaking, cardmaking, and scrapbooking. I have even won awards in some of these areas of creativity.
With the influence of my daughter, Dana, who shares this blog with me and Stefanie, I have taken up scrapbooking, cardmaking, or anything papercrafting related. What fun I am having! In January of 2010, I was honored to be asked to become and instructor for Scrookers Paradise in Clagary. I was able to do that for a year before returning home to Victoria, BC after 32 years, to be closer to my aging parents.
As of March 2012 I am enjoying being part of the DT for Colour Create Challenge and also being a part of the Scrapbook Parade store, here in Victoria, BC, as an instructor.Hope that you enjoy what we all share with you on our blog.
