I found the colors for the Play Date Cafe Challenge quite striking and wanted to try it. I paired it up with the CAS layout for the Card Patterns Challenge finding it to be a very compatible combination.
I'm still working on a cache of birthday cards that I need, so once again that is the genre for this card. Upon completion of this card I got to thinking that this card would be appreciated by both a male or female recipient.
Unfortunately, the colors of the photo aren't true. For instance, the ink in the photo doesn't come across as Versa Magic Night Sky (like a navy) and the ribbons are more a yellow gold. The actual card colors are much closer to the images of the PDCC colors.
I do love how the card turned out, however.
