Stamping Vacation DT: What a Guy Challenge

This month's What a Guy challenge over at the Stamping Vacation blog invites us to create a masculine card with a clock or watch on it. Any timepiece, I guess. ;)

I used this opportunity to make my husband's birthday card, even though his bday isn't until May...

It's hard to tell but I inked the edges of the Blueberry Sky card base with Stormy Sky Tim Holtz Distress Ink. The edges of the Kraft cardstock were distressed with the Tim Holtz Paper Distressing tool.

Thanks for stopping by!

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}
  • Cardstock: Blueberry Sky, Kraft
  • Stamps: Make a Wish Additions
  • Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Stormy Sky (Tim Holtz Distress Inks)
  • Button: Blueberry Sky
  • Twine: Rustic Jute
  • Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug): Gears
  • Other Tools: Timepiece (Tim Holtz), Paper Distresser (Tim Holtz)

This card is so wonderful...love the embossing too. What a great sentiment.

I love the sentiment you used. So true regardless of your age! I'm sure your hubby will love it. The clock, and embossing look great together. TYFS!
