Papertrey Ink 5th Anniversary: Day 4

Today's festivities include fav color combos from Papertrey Ink's design team. I chose to work with Jessica Witty's combination of Canyon Clay, Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist and Harvest Gold, using inspiration from Nichole Heady and Maile Belles (photos below).

It's very difficult to tell, but the Dark Chocolate frame was impressed with the Canvas side of the Linen & Canvas impression plate. I'm thinking I should have impressed the card base with the Linen side... maybe letterpressing it even? Ah, well. Nothing wrong with simple. ;)

The only PTI buttons I don't own are the Harvest Gold ones. So I colored a Lemon Tart button with a Harvest Gold trio Copic. Adds some interest, anyway.

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}
  • Cardstock: Canyon Clay, Dark Chocolate, Stamper's Select White
  • Stamps: Iconic Images, Embellishments
  • Ink: Aqua Mist, Walnut Stain Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Ranger)
  • Dies: Mat Stack 4, Fillable Frames 7
  • Other Tools: Linen & Canvas impression plate, Lemon Tart button/Harvest Gold trio Copic, brown embroidery thread, ink blending foam (Inkssentials)
