Jay Gee's Nook and Moxie Fab

I was immediately inspired by one of the stunning pics in Jay Gee's Nook collage inspiration photo [below]. Any guesses as to which one?

The card base, a small 3.75" square, is a shimmery silver color. I stamped the lips with silver ink and then proceeded to arrange rhinestones. The iRock jewels are handy for this type of thing since they aren't adhesive (you melt the glue with the iRock tool). I really wish that I had the iRock iron for this type of thing!

I am also entering this in 1 of Moxie Fab's many Stamp It! challenges, specifically Love cards.

Thanks for peeking!

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}
  • Cardstock: True Black, silver shimmer
  • Stamps: Botanical Silhouettes, lips (Craft Smart)
  • Ink: Brilliance Silver Starlite and Versamark (Tsukineko)
  • Other Tools: Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers), iRock/rhinestones, white embossing powder (Filigree)

Wow! Amazing Dana! I wonder how the woman with the bling on her lips managed to keep them still like that and if she had to refrain from letting her lips touch together. Photo shoots can take such a long time!
