I decided to post my Christmas tree. Why? Well, why not? It's my blog!
Stefanie did the majority of decorating on it so this should really be her post!
Last year, my tree was a very monochromatic brown, bronze and copper. This year, we added some color that really pops--orange and lime green. There are also some large snowflakes, some goldy-brown starbursts (not my fav but they go well) and some Alfred Sung decorations--some cream circle thingies that you stick in with the branches as well as some berry garland. I got the AS stuff on sale (plus damage discount on the garland) otherwise I don't think I would've sprung for it.
You'll notice that the bottom third is not decorated... Wonder why!!
You can see the incongruous red ornament in the middle. That's a special ornament I picked up this year! Three sweet little kiddies in bed: Taylor, Averi and Ella!
After using the Card Feature on my glittery green dollar store paper (at 3 inches), I used the technique I learned here.
You can tell the glittery dragon is see-through here. You can also tell that the type of glitter I used is strange. It's Martha Stewart's Tinsel Glitter and looks really cool but is kind of a pain for this project since it keeps "crunching" off. I'll stick to the regular stuff in the future.

This one looks better in person! Martha Stewart Icicles punch (thank you, Stef!) on blue glitterboard taped onto a white card. I stamped Merry Christmas across the bottom and, in retrospect, I should've done one in the middle and then done the ones on the side. The penguins were too adorable to pass up at Michael's. The snowflakes are from the dollar store.

I Cuttlebugged this Christmas tree on adhesive-backed foil paper and then cut it out. It was kind of a pain but it was worth it! The "joy" is just a pre-made rhinestone word.
