Freesia Happy Birthday

I'm not making custom cards for men anymore...

The only specification I got was "She likes freesia" and this card did not seem to fit the bill. My husband had the gall to say he understood why. So, no more cards for men. They can pick from already assembled ones should they so desire.

I printed the freesia image onto white cardstock in black and white and also in color. I ended up using the black and white image and coloring the yellow with a Copic. I used Spellbinders to make both the white border and the scalloped border. It's a simple card, with my first bow attempts on the Bow Easy (need some practice). I frayed the edges of the ribbon and rounded the corners for added interest.

The interior of the card uses the frame from Fillable Frames #7 and a sentiment from Fillable Frames #4.

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}

For what you had to work with, I think you did a wonderful job! What didn't he like about it? I love the soft yellow ribbon, and your matting and framing is perfect. What do men know anyway?
