Taylor's 1st Birthday Party!

[Edited to add: You can find the fixed up version of this card here.]

My little guy is going to his 1st non-family birthday party tomorrow. The invitation was covered in Disney princesses so I thought I'd break out my Once Upon a Princess cartridge (for the Cricut) and my Gypsy to see what I could cook up.

The eyes are the freakiest! Not sure how to fix it. Not all white cardstocks are created equal and this was an unknown source that was more compatible with Cricut cutting than my usual Stamper's Select. The Copic coloring turned out horrible! I even used the airbrush system to try and blush the cheeks... can hardly tell with that awful skin!

I tried some two-tone hair... don't know if I like how it turned out.

The banner and font are from Lawn Fawn.

Smudged the sentiment but I had fun with the Make a Wish set from PTI. Love, love, love it!

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}
  • Cardstock: Stamper's Select (banner), Aqua Mist (card base), assorted Bazzill and unknown
  • Stamps: Bannerific and Jessie's ABCs (Lawn Fawn), Make a Wish

  • Cricut Cartridge: Once Upon a Princess
  • Embossing Folder: Cupcakes from Once Upon a Princess Cuttlebug Companion folders
  • Copics: E0000, E000, E00, R20, 100
