Barnyard Fun

I completely justified the purchase of barnyard-themed dies some time ago by telling myself I would put them to use for the kiddies. Finally got around to it!

The background board is from a dollar store kiddy set--a steal of a deal!  I just whipped up the barn and animals with my dies and felt. To speckle the rooster, I sprayed him with Studio Calico's Opaque White Mister Huey's mist and dabbed it dry.

Fun to make, but I learned a thing or two about putting a barn together.  ;)

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}
  • Dies: On the Farm
  • Other Tools: felt--Fine Linen, Vintage Cream, Melon Berry, Harvest Gold, True Black, Pure Poppy, Dark Chocolate; Mister Huey's Opaque White mist (Studio Calico)

Hi Dana!!

I hope you get this - I couldn't find an email for you!

The sentiment stamp on my Christmas card is also from the Poinsettia and Pine set from Flourishes, as was the greenery. It has a couple of sentiments, in different fonts, that are all nice.

I only just noticed you're from Calgary! I grew up in Airdrie! Well - lived there until I was 11, I should say. I've been in BC far longer than I was ever an Albertan!
