This is Tara's FIRST card! Shows you what is possible with a creative disposition combined with all the fun tools available!
This card was made almost exclusively with scraps! It was cut in two, punched using Martha Stewarts ribbon threader punch and then stitched together with ribbon. Make sure to score the front cover BEFORE assembling! The majority of paper panels were distressed using Tim Holtz paper distresser. The cream panel was also distressed using Tim Holtz Distress ink in Frayed Burlap and an ink blending tool. The orange panel was embossed using a Cuttlebug and the Script folder. The hearts were stamped using Tsukineko Dewdrops in Memeto Potter's Clay and Brilliance Pearlescent Chocolate. A craft knife was used to cut them out and take the centers out. The intertwining is an especially inspired touch! The "love you" border was stamped in the Chocolate as well.
The inside is a little more whimsical. All stamps are from My Favorite Things. The maid was colored in using Copic markers in Black and Lipstick Red. The shoes were then also colored in using a glitter Spica pen in Red.
This is a truly remarkable card!! The envelope was decorated to match but is not pictured here.
