Bereavement

I couldn't help making another white on white "sympathy" card after the way this one turned out. I really think all the white causes one to think of purity, innocence and the Spirit. This one was a request from my mother-in-law for a distant relative suffering after a stillbirth.

The sentiment doesn't quite fit the frame but I gave myself some artistic license.

The embossed flourish frame is a Cuttlebug folder, the sentiment from With Sympathy and the sparkle is both blue rhinestones and clear Spica pen.

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}
  • Cardstock: Stamper's Select
  • Patterned Paper (envelope liner): Bitty Dot Basics
  • Stamps: With Sympathy
  • Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
  • Other Tools: blue rhinestones (dollar store), clear Spica pen (Atyou), Flourished Frame embossing folder (Cuttlebug), clear embossing powder (Filigree), dimensional adhesive tape (dollar store), A2 Envelope Liner die

This card tears at my heartstrings. I know from past experience that it is THE perfect card for a miscarriage, the mother will appreciate it and treasure it. Beautiful.
