Series of Masculine Thank You Cards: Card 6

This masculine Thank You card has what I call a "Maile" look to it. Maile Belles has a distinctive style and the ribbons here were inspired by her.

I'm still not the best when stamping backgrounds (when will I learn to always use my Stamp-a-ma-jig?) but I was still fine enough with this to pass it on...If I'd planned ahead better, I either would have moved the Mat Stack down or stamped a bit more text to about the middle of the Mat Stack.

Lovin' the Mat Stack stamps!!

That's it for this card series. I've really got to work on getting my Christmas cards off!

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}
  • Cardstock: Kraft, Rustic Cream
  • Patterned Paper (envelope liner): Bitty Box Basics
  • Stamps: Mat Stack 1 Collection, Background Basics: Text Style
  • Ink: Dark Chocolate, Terracotta Tile
  • Ribbon: New Leaf twill, Enchanted Evening twill, Terracotta Tile twill
  • Dies: Mat Stack 1, A2 Envelope Liner

Dana - you totally rocked Maile's style...love your card! I am with you on the background stamps...and I am too lazy to use my stamp-a-ma-jig...can't always have perfection and you are probably the only one that notices :)

What a fabulous way to turn a feminine card (from what I remember of the inspiration piece!) into a masculine one! Love your colors and design.

Dana: I love your cards! I always struggle making masculine cards and I am so going to scrap-lift:)
