CASE Study

I remember when I first saw this week's CASE Study card in a recent PaperCrafts magazine... LOVE Aga's work [graphic below]! That's when I first decided that I needed at least one tub of FlowerSoft. I now have 5 but hope to get more!

Instead of using FlowerSoft for my creation, however, I decided to use the lovely, CAS sketch (inverted). I love both PTI's tie stamp set and WPlus9's tie stamp set... I haven't had a chance to get the WPlus9 set though and so here is my PTI creation:

With Father's Day fast approaching, I got my masculine-card-mindset on.  I've learned not to expend too much effort on cards for men as they prefer a simple look.

So I kept this simple and won over my husband's approval. (Or perhaps he's finally learned to just say it's great!)

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}
  • Cardstock: Stamper's Select White; Kraft
  • Stamps: World's Greatest; My Hero, My Dad
  • Ink: Enchanted Evening, Fired Brick and Antique Linen Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Ranger), Memento Dandelion (Tsukineko)
  • Dies: Tie
  • Other Tools: edge distresser (Tonic)
