Guest Designer at Scrapbooker's Paradise

I have the opportunity of participating in this week's Playing in Paradise challenge at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog.

Allison created a sketch to inspire us:

I decided that this was the perfect time to try out my Funky Circles Provo Craft die--I've had it for years but kept forgetting about it until I reorganized my craft room! I had the idea of making rainbow rings and so die-cut several solid-colored scraps. After laying things out, I decided that this would be work perfectly as a fun card for my little sister's birthday.

Anyone else think that this cupcake smacks of Grimace meets the Hamburglar???

I used my Grand Calibur to emboss the Simple Circles border die into my card base. I double-inked the sentiment stamp in red and black and then traced over the "wish" with glitter gel pen.

Since this photo, I've added a few more colored rings and kinda regret getting carried away.  :(

Thanks for peeking!
