I'm showcasing homemade embellishments with felt. One of the things I love about working with felt is that you end up with more embellishments than you're actually making.
Allow me to demonstrate...
I was die cutting 2 butterflies out of felt, with plans to use paper as a sort of base:
And once I sew everything together...
I end up with all of this:
I adhered the top 2 paper pieces to contrasting papers using my Xyron (just because it makes it easier but you can also use glue or double-sided tape):
So, cutting out 2 felt butterflies and 2 paper butterflies gave me embellishments for 6 cards (you can click on the picture to zoom in)!
For other ideas I've done with felt, see here, here, here, here and here!
Your next stop on our hop is Annmaree's blog, Emu Creations, where prizes from Meljen's Designs and Really Reasonable Ribbon are available to be won!
Thanks for hopping by!!
