PTI Make It Monday: Dry Brushing

This week's Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink encourages to make a project by dry brushing with paint or ink. Since I don't have paint in my arsenal (that I can find), I used ink.

I started out by dry brushing purple ink onto the Animal Print impression plate. I impressed it onto some white cardstock and then dry brushed some more ink around the edges. I def need some DECENT paintbrushes...

Added a double-edged banner and a party-hatted zebra to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by!

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}

  • Patterned Paper: random animal print pack
  • Stamps: It's a Jungle Out There
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Memento Grape Jelly (Tsukineko)
  • Dies: It's a Jungle Out There, Double-Ended Banners
  • Other Tools: Animal Print impression plate, yellow rhinestone (dollar store)
