I made this one instead for the Color Cue {8} challenge and prefer it much more.
The inspiration came from one of the Color Cue {8} challenge participant's blogs! The 2nd card on this post from The Mango Boys and Me inspired strips of embossed paper sewn to the card as well as the "centerpiece" of the card. Thank you, Lynn!

LOVE your framed sentiment, on your first take, Dana! And the way you offset and stitched those paper strips on a simple, white background, on your second take, is superb!
Thanks, Jinny! I was thinking about taking the framed sentiment off of the first card and putting it on another but I didn't have time before I had to give it to the recipient! ;)
THESE are BOTH gorgeous! BOTH are SUCH a festival of WHY this color palette is soooooo wonderful - you've done some TERRIFIC stamping, indeed. Frankly, because I'm greedy {!hee hee!} I'm just glad you shared them... Much to be inspired by, here! Wahooooooo!
