Color Cue {9} Challenge

I have now completed 3 cards with Dawn's Color Cue {9} Challenge in mind... I can't decide which one to enter!!

Here's my latest, and heretofore unblogged, card, which features a digital stamp from Stamping Dragon Designs (Stamping Vacation's sponsor this month):

Yes, I actually ruffled tulle and sewed it to the image! I'm amazed with myself! ;) It looks better in person, of course.

I used Copics to color the dress form and then cut it out. I used a chisel glue pen to adhere glitter to the bodice and used a paper piercer and piercing mat to make the sewing holes for the bit of ruffled tulle.  I pop-dotted the cutout over a matching printed image that I had diecut and embossed with Spellbinders Mega Ovals. The scalloped border was done on glimmer Bazzill cardstock (I discovered I didn't have Papertrey Ink's Pink Shimmer at that moment) and the card base on Soft Stone. These were both done with Spellbinders as well. The border on the card base was done with the Spellbinder die, Spica pen, glue pen and glitter. I left this card sentiment-free.

A fun and cute card!

The other cards I did are here:

and here:

Any suggestions? The Color Cue {9} Challenge is due November 7th!

{Supplies}

(Sewing Dummy Card)
  • Cardstock: Stamper's Select, Soft Stone (Papertrey Ink); pink shimmer (Bazzill)
  • Patterned Paper (envelope liner): Bitty Dot Basics (Papertrey Ink)
  • Digital Stamp: dress form (Stamping Dragon Designs)
  • Copics: R20, R22, R24, T1, 0 (in retrospect, I would've used W1 instead of T1 to go with the Soft Stone cardstock...)
  • Dies: Mega Ovals, Scalloped Mega Ovals, Labels 8 (Spellbinders); A2 Envelope Liner (Papertrey Ink)
  • Other Tools: assorted glue pens, Prisma glitter, pink Spica, white tulle, paper piercer (Tim Holtz)
