Another class post for Scrapbook Essentials, BC today. This one is not a Graphic 45 class, but a fun class constructing a planner from scratch using BoBunny's Sleigh Ride paper.

CHRISTMAS PLANNER
Saturday, October 1, 2016
10:00am - 4:00pm (with lunch break)
$63.00 (includes tax)

Contact Stacey to sign up - sbebc201@gmail.com

This four panel fold up organizer will hep you, or the person you gift this to, to be well prepared over the three months before Christmas making sure to not having to rush around at the last minute.

When opened a note pad on the left and a pocket of three calendars is revealed.

When you take out the calendars, you will find a "To Do" list on the back of each one.

Opening the next panel reveals a pocket with two mini-folders, and a flap.

The min-folders are for lists. One folder for your Christmas Card list and one for your Christmas gift giving.

Behind the flap is a general Christmas check list. You can leave the list off and place some fun photos here instead showing some of the fun you have in getting ready for your Christmas celebration.

Next you see all the panels revealed.

There is another pocket the includes a mini-folder and a large tag. These are all related to the kitchen; planning your Christmas baking, your menus for parties, and your Christmas dinner.

Lastly, there is a magnetic closure receipt envelope (you can see I misspelled it on the label. Don't know what I was thinking!)

And next you see the envelope open.

Once this is created in class, you will be able to create more and some could even be as a wedding planner...

For those that aren't local and able to attend this class, may it give you inspiration in creating your own Christmas Planner.

BRING TO CLASS: Paper trimmer, 12 x 12 score board, 2 rolls of double sided adhesive tape, liquid glue, 12" ruler, pencil, scissors, and a bone folder

This is a more intermediate/advanced class.

Happy Creating!

Stacked Organiztion Tower

I'm sharing with you today, a project that I made for Paper Architecture but can't use due to instructional video problems. If you follow my Paper Architecture with Sabrina FaceBook page, you'll know what happened there. Anyway, I have the project so I may as well show it to you. I plan to remake this project in the future again.

So What I came up with is a project that has several layers and can be put together with just one layer, two, three, or four layers! You stack them in the order you want, and glue them together building your organizational tower. It can be used s a sewing box, jewelry box, craft organization, office organizer, and more!

Made, as I did, with the base and two layers, the project measures 12" wide x 12" deep x 10" high. So if you add more sections, the tower would of course be higher. Here are the photos.

That's it for the photos. Next is a video to show you more details and explain how it works and can be configured.

Not sure when I will get to it again since I have the next few months planned out, but I will get this project done again for you with a video that works.

Thank you for joining me today, and Happy Papercrafting everyone!

Mini For A Friend

On Thursday I was able to meet up with a friend I hadn't seen in five years, as she was taking a week to visit Victoria from Calgary. It was so very nice to see her again. I wanted her to have something to remember her trip here by, and thought a mini album would be nice. Since Victoria is often referred to as "The Garden City" I decided I had enough Graphic 45 Secret Garden paper left to create one.

I did something else too. I decided to time myself from the conception with sketches and measurements I figure out, to the completion of the Mini. It took me 13 1/2 hours. That's without inking any paper, lol. I also decided to create eight pages, rather than the traditional six, and because I knew I'd be punching and making flowers, the spacing between pages would be 3/8" rather than the usual 1/4". This made for a very thick Mini with a spine of 4"! The whole Mini measures 6 1/2" w x 5" h x 4" thick. I used two envelopes, glued together, back to back, for each page, thus creating two pockets with each page for the photo tags and the bottom pockets for journaling tags and stuff.

Because I finished the Mini just minutes before meeting up with my friend, I was unable to take a bunch of photos. But, I did have time to make a quick walk through video of the it and later made snapshots from the video. So the photos are not the best.

So here is the walk through video of this mini.

Thank you so much for joining me today. It was so fun to use one of my favorite old papers again. Hope that you are having a wonderful weekend. Happy papercrafting!

File Folder Scrapping Holder

Over the past few months I have posted "File Folder Scraping" projects.
  1. File Folder Scrapping I
  2. File Folder Scrapping II - version one & version two
  3. File Folder Scrapping III - is nearly done!
When creating the videos of thee projects I had used a magazine box holder I made from scratch that would hold six of these File Folder Scrapping projects. Many expressed interest in making one for their File Folder Scrapping projects a well. So though there is nothing beautiful or exciting about this box, I'm posting a couple of photos and letting those who are interested, know that the project is up on my "Paper Architecture with Sabrina" blog.

In the following photo you can see the original box in the background, holding three File Folder Scrapping units. The one in the foreground is the one I made to make your video instructions.

This holder could also hold several of your favorite scrapbooking/cardmaking magazines, store your
8 1\2" x 11" cardstock, and so much more! Make them all match for your craft room, or around your home.  So if you'd like to make one, hop on over to Paper Architecture with Sabrina!

You'll be finding the File Folder Scrapping III unit up soon!

Happy papercrafting!

New Paper Architecture Posts!

Hello everyone! I'm back home and I have two surprises for you over on my other blog, Paper Architecture with Sabrina.

You can now purchase instructions for the classes I taught in Edmonton for Scrap Addicts, a couple of weekends ago. Both are with Graphic 45 papers, but you can choose what ever papers you want to make these projects your own! So go on over and check out what I have there for you. Some of you have been waiting a long time for one of the projects, and I appreciate your patience in waiting, but I had to wait until all the classes for this project were completed.

Happy Papercrafting!
