Cards Using MME's Collectible "Remarkable"

- using MFT's Loopy Blossom Die-Namics for the first time...

These are the cards we'll be making using the 6 x 6 pad of My Minds Eye Collectible "Remarkable" papers.

This first one I'm showing you I had to remake three times! I almost didn't include it for the class, but I don't have the time to make another or try to fix it for the fourth time...lol.

The chipboard boy was cut using the store's Accucut machine. It's actually a chain of 5 children that I cut to separate the children. The double layered balloons are stamped using the balloon from MFT's Cupcake Cutie. In the next photo you can see how the balloons are layered.

The next card went so much easier. I made a simple card that has many paper layers.

The heart tag/charm is another chipboard item cut on the store's Accucut machine. I used Cuttlebug's Polka Dots folder to emboss the kraft.

OK, this next card has a lot of details.

I die cut 5 each of two greens, with the MFT Leafy Flourish Die-Namics. I'm going to be busy die cutting for the kits for this class! Several are tucked in behind the circle cut out, some being popped up a bit. I also used Loopy Bloom Die-Namics by MFT to create those Mum-like blooms. There are a few close ups to see.

And a side view...

I used some Liquid Pearls for this final card.

Teal, red & yellow are the colours for this card. Lots of layers, some of which are popped up. You can probably see it better in the side view.

I love working with that crepe ribbon. I used MFT's Leafy Flourish again on this card. Only a single one this time. I cut it in half to get two pieces from it. The lower right piece I used Sellbinder's Labels 20 to get the shape at the bottom. Buttercup Liquid Pearls trim the circles and the banner shape at the bottom. The butterfly stamp is a very old one from My Sentiments Exactly!, that I love, and is no longer available. I might have to break down and get another similar butterfly stamp as this clear is beginning to not stick to the clear bock as easily as it used to.

Well, thank you for joining me today for a look at the long post. Happy papercrafting!

CASE Study: Signature Style

For CASE Study's 2 year anniversary, they are celebrating with a challenge to create a card using our own signature style. While I try to use different techniques and styles, I'd have to say that my foundation style is super CAS. No embellishement, no nonsense.

Here are two samples using the same stamp...

One layer:

Slightly more embellished with an added layer:

I love paper-piecing!

These are little 3 3/4" square cards. So fun and simple!

Thanks for visiting!

Gift Set - Scrapbook Parade Class

I just love this little folded double box that I came up with to hold a set of six cards with six matching gift tags! The box reminds me of the school pack packs children had in the 30's and 40's from photos I've seen.

Opening the box, you'll find the box has two sides!

And this is what the box holds.

You'll recognize the 6 x 6 Websters paper. And here they are, card and tag, in their individual sets.

I used Glossy Accents on the bicycles of the card and tag. I wish I had less of the doily showing on this next card, but it's too late now. I did have fun making the flowers though! I also left room for a stamp on this one.

Nothing fancy about any of these cards. I let the papers do the talking, and kept it simple so that they could be more easily mailed than some of the cards I tend to make.

Room for a stamp on this one as well.

I like how the palm tree card turned out.

And finally, the wedding dress card and tag.

I didn't show the backs of the tags, but there are little matching images on the backs as well.

So that's the set! Did I mention how much I love the little box? lol

Thank you for stopping by again today and leaving your comment. Always fun to have visitors. Happy crafting everyone!!

Miss You - A RS Notecard Fav

Are you came for another post adding to my favs in a large number of notecards I'm making for Relief society? This one I like because of the colours - so bright and cheerful.
For this card, not only did I use scrap papers, but I also went into my box of ribbon scraps too. For a bit of a fun look I inked the edged of the medallion with a bright pink. Well, a simpe card doesn't require a lot of discription, just a picture to share it with you.
Hope you're having a good day, and thanks for stopping by again.

Lily Pad Cards: Themed Challenge

I realized after making this card yesterday that it fits in perfectly with the Lily Pad Cards Themed Challenge: make a new card featuring a patriotic theme with a twist.

My card is definitely patriotic... For a different country than my own! I have family and friends in the States and thought this card would be perfect to express that I am thinking of them.

I was also inspired by the Playing in Paradise challenge here. You can find the details and list of supplies there.

Thanks for stopping by!
