G45 Christmas Carol Card Class

Some of my two favorite things combined for this Scrapbook Essentials BC card class. Graphic 45 and Christmas! In keeping with G45's style these cards have more layers and some fussing cutting. But with the cut-a-parts we use, it is still an easier class.

G45 Christmas Carol Christmas Cards Class
Thursday, October 20, 2016
1:00 - 4:00pm
$36.75 (includes tax)

So here is a look at the 6 cards we will be making in the class.

1) A woman reading the "Christmas Carol"

2) Figgy Pudding - family Christmas dinner

3) Celebrate the Season - sometimes cutting around the text like this, rather than as a strip, has great visual appeal.

4) Honor Christmas All Year

5) God Bless Everyone! (love this tag)

6) Merry Christmas

Vintage cards without too much of the work!

BRING TO CLASS:

Paper trimmer, scissors, double sided adhesive tape, dimensionals/pop-dots, and optional - favorite vintage colour ink pad (like Brushed Corduroy, Old Paper, Frayed Burlap, or Gathered Twigs) and a sponge.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

This is a real easy card class to take at Scrapbook Essentials. BC, and we'll be making one dozen cards! Using the cut-a-parts of the BoBunny Sleigh Ride Collection to create unique Christmas cards, with some being a more contemporary rustic or masculine look.

Not many spots left!

You've seen the dozen together above, so now have a look at each of them close up and individually.

It is always great fun to create cards using the cut-a-parts from designer paper collections. A great class to bring beginner friends to, or just to get a dozen extra cards made.

BRING TO CLASS:  1/8" hole punch, 1/2" circle pinch, scissors, double sided adhesive tape, and dimensionals/pop dots.

See you there!

Another class post for Scrapbook Essentials, BC today. This one is not a Graphic 45 class, but a fun class constructing a planner from scratch using BoBunny's Sleigh Ride paper.

This four panel fold up organizer will hep you, or the person you gift this to, to be well prepared over the three months before Christmas making sure to not having to rush around at the last minute.

When opened a note pad on the left and a pocket of three calendars is revealed.

When you take out the calendars, you will find a "To Do" list on the back of each one.

Opening the next panel reveals a pocket with two mini-folders, and a flap.

The min-folders are for lists. One folder for your Christmas Card list and one for your Christmas gift giving.

Behind the flap is a general Christmas check list. You can leave the list off and place some fun photos here instead showing some of the fun you have in getting ready for your Christmas celebration.

Next you see all the panels revealed.

There is another pocket the includes a mini-folder and a large tag. These are all related to the kitchen; planning your Christmas baking, your menus for parties, and your Christmas dinner.

Lastly, there is a magnetic closure receipt envelope (you can see I misspelled it on the label. Don't know what I was thinking!)

And next you see the envelope open.

Once this is created in class, you will be able to create more and some could even be as a wedding planner...

For those that aren't local and able to attend this class, may it give you inspiration in creating your own Christmas Planner.

BRING TO CLASS: Paper trimmer, 12 x 12 score board, 2 rolls of double sided adhesive tape, liquid glue, 12" ruler, pencil, scissors, and a bone folder

This is a more intermediate/advanced class.

Happy Creating!
