Moxie Fab Vertical Sketch and Wee Memories

I absolutely love Moxie Fab's Vertical Sketch!

I had forgotten it in one of my email folders. Found it earlier today... Whoops!

I went to my craft room this evening with the intention of finally putting together a card for this. Since I didn't have the sketch right in front of me, however, I couldn't recall where the sentiment went. So instead of starting the card, I went to refresh my "sketchy" memory.

9:38 pm

Uh, this is 11:38 EDT, Dana!!

I had gotten distracted and forgotten about this card!

Could I seriously put together, photograph, edit and post a card in 22 minutes??

Well, I RAN down to my craft room to find out!

It helped that I had already pulled out the supplies for it. I knew I wanted a CAS card that featured Paper Smooches (specific recipient in mind).

Making a card in a HUGE hurry does have potential for calamity. I accidentally poured on clear embossing powder instead of white. Aaaahhh!

I brushed it off with a paintbrush and poured on the white. Had a tough time getting rid of the excess particles but it looks kind of cool... Versamark sure is amazing!

I considered edge inking, corner rounding, additional splotch embossing (where you just pour bits of powder here and there and then melt it from underneath) but checked the time and decided it was PERFECT as is.  lol!!

Looks like I needn't have hurried so dramatically... I'm finished typing in the post contents at 10:15 (12:15 EDT) and the linking widget is still open... 8)

This card is also perfect for the Wee Memories "No Patterned Paper" challenge.

Thank you for stopping by!!
