Stamping Vacation: White Space Challenge

Forgot to post this earlier! Lots of stuff going on today!

Stamping Vacation's White Space challenge this month is to make a one-layer card!

This card isn't completed--I'm awaiting a specific stamp for the center--but you can definitely get the idea.

I love how bright and cheery this is! The masked frame gives the illusion of multiple layers.

Every entry into a Stamping Vacation challenge is an entry for a gift certificate drawing: $25 to the place of your choice!!

This card also works for the current Papertrey Playhouse challenge: create a card for your favorite season. My favorite season is Autumn BUT I definitely enjoy Spring as well, so this card is Spring images with Fall colors! ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

{Supplies--all Papertrey Ink unless noted}
  • Cardstock: Stamper's Select
  • Stamps: Beautiful Blooms II, Turning a New Leaf, Framed
  • Ink: Summer Sunrise, Terracotta Tile, Simply Chartreuse, Tuxedo Black (Memento)

Dana I love the flowers. Your colors sure are spring looking and bright. I moved away from snow country almost 6 years ago. I would never go back.

Bright and Cheery! Great masking job, too. You've certainly been busy and on a great creative roll! I, too, am not not missing the snow. When Spring is here , I love it, When Summer is here, I love it, as long as it doesn't get hot. And, when Fall is here I love it too. But, with certainty I can say that I do not like winter. If one didn't have to go out and could just see it from a window while sitting at a fireplace, that would be OK. So it is difficult to say what season is my favorite, though I do love those sunny, clear, and crisp Fall days too.

Nice way to combine your favorite season with the current one! I'm in the same boat with a current project--awaiting a specific stamp before I can complete it!
