-Remembrance, memories, and sympathy are the themes of this unusual colour combination of this Authentique collection
Unusual and striking colour combinations can really hold ones attention, especially when the colours work together. That is the case with this collection titled "Remembrance" by Authentique and theme of this card class. Seven A2 cards in total, using every bit of paper with no salvageable scraps! That doesn't happen too often in my craft room. lol. I used the 6 x 6 pad and the 12 x 12 Cut-Aparts for the sentiments and such.
Since these were photographed from above in order to get them all in one shot, here are the cards individually.
Nothing fancy about this one...just added the cameo and pearls.
I fussy cut the 2 flourishes from the 12 x 12 sheet and coloured them in using Tim Holtz Shabby Shutters and VersaMagic Eggplant with a Fantastix. Here is a side view.
The Memory Box Rounded Ribbon Buckle is used here under the narrow organza green ribbon.
For this card I distressed the paper to give an old worn look and pleated the purple strip under the sentiment card, and used MFT's Upsy Daisy Die-Namics die for the layered daisy and leaves. And, a side view where you may see the pleats a bit better.
Next...
With the busy patterns on this card I chose to keep the design simple.
For this card I chose to use Martha Stewart's Floral Vine border punch which compliments the flourishes on the gray Cut-Apart card.
This one is filled with the layered daisies using MFT's Upsy Daisy Die-Namics. I love those daisies. ...and a side view...
Some of these will make great Sympathy cards, while others can be used for more generic purposes. Well, that's it for this class set of cards. Thank you for checking in to have a look.
Hugs, and happy papercrafting!
