Thank You Kindly

Who didn't fall in love with Maile's Quilled Elegance over at Papertrey Ink? I've already used a sentiment but here is my first crack at one of the images. I wanted to create a watercolor effect and so used watercolor cardstock, Distress Ink, and Glimmer Mist.

Can't see much effect from the Glimmer Mist here. Basically, I stamped the image with Gathered Twigs Tim Holtz Distress Ink, sprayed some Iridescent Gold mist on some plastic, and then started "painting" the inside of the image. The glimmer is more noticeable IRL.

The sentiment was stamped in Pearlescent Chocolate ink and then traced with a Clear Star gel pen for added glitter.

My next attempt with this set will be more colorful!
